    He would be excellent in the centre with Scott 'The Midfield General' Parker proper cultured stuff.

    Actually, Scott Parker is one of the few England players I think is OK

    I don't mind parker for me Gareth Barry is the worst. Michael Carrick should be in the team, also Adam Johnson as i know you agree with northampton. I actually would give Joe Cole another go. Play him attacking mid like he has been playing for lille, where he played for West Ham. Which is his position and i think he is a really good player on his day.

    Typifies the hard working, battling, slogger type player who just runs around for 90 minutes I'm afraid there is too many players with similar type engines. I can't fault him for his effort but he doesn't have that quality, if he had an extra yard of pace and a lot more vision then he would be a fairly decent player.

    Yeah but he's not anxious to give the ball away as soon as possible like the likes of Gerrard, Lampard et al. Thats why I quite like him, he's neat, patient and tidy much like our own Fox.
