I hope behind the scenes a deals being worked out....Free transfer....I say give him and his agent a huge undisclosed signing on fee instead of massive wages to upset the team dynamic. He's only 25,consistent for Lille and Canada...and very importantly for a toon striker has been able to make 40+ apps for the last seven seasons with a pretty decent consistent scoring record. He's versatile as well...can play out and out striker or second striker or even attacking mid....Howe could maybe mix it up if he was an option.
Dunno...I just reckon there maybe something on the cards the media doesnt know about and im hoping its J.D..I will say I'd just like to point out tho....isnt it great at least the Toon are in a position now where there is a real genuine chance a player of that calibre could easily sign these days....like Isak and Tonali.......fun times...
