Charlton are due to play Millwall on 21 September in front of the Sky cameras, now you would have thought that our club would want as many Charlton fans in the Valley as possible..... wouldn't you??.....well......... obviously no!....... they have made this game a 'Gold' game and the ticket prices will be amoung the highest all season!

Makes you wonder if there is anybody running the club at present? Surely there must of been some cognitive dissonance regarding the lower crowds that Sky games bring against the higher ticket prices for a local derby after the Sky schedule was announced, somebody must have suggested that perhaps we re-categorise this game...... wouldn't they????

    Perhaps not eh?

In addition, for your premium price ticket, you risk being kept behind after the game if last season's shameful debacle is anything to go by.

Not the way to guarantee full attendance, to be sure.

Cognitive dissonance - I love it when you talk dirty

Just very poor marketing given how much they upset us all after last season's debacle. Obviously the responsibility for decision making on these matters has been abrogated by the senior commercial executives to the catering staff in the north stand who don't like it when there is a full house.

I have a season ticket and am wondering whether I could be bothered to attend after the way we were treated last time.

I doubt that we will get 20,000 for this one. We have got one thousand less season ticket holders this year, and we know that many families don't attend our annual hate fest with our local neighbours. Last seasons Keystone Kops in Harvey Gardens will have put off a few more. I will be attending as usual, pockets stuffed full of red flares, and wearing a Kim Grant face mask.

Not a game a lot of our fans generally fancy given the reputation of our neighbours. Given the importance of this one,you d think we d want numbers to get behind the team (I bet the away end sells out) but as has been mentioned earlier, our directors seem not to be in anyway informed about the fans views. Or maybe they don t give a toss!
If we sell out, could we offer a new contract to one of the players?

Still undecided if i'll be there. Season ticket holder, but last years farce at the end of the game still leaves a nasty taste. Can I be asked to put up with the hassle for 90 minutes of abuse and hatred & that's from our own fans, to then be held back whilst our "guests" get 1st class service out the ground. Think Sky in the pub seems very appealing.
