Just on the BBC website, seems Ruddy will be out until April:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21078118

Seems to be longer than when it was first announced that he was to have surgery. What do people think about this? Are we happy with Bunn for what will be most of the rest of the season, or would you use the transfer window to bring in somebody new? Personally I am happy with Bunn, and don't think it would be worth bringing in anybody else but I know some people are not too keen,

Apologies if this has been discussed before!

I put up a post last week with news from JR himself that he's ahead of schedule and now expects to be ready to play in April, initially, he wasn't going to start training until April!

yeah, i thought he was ahead of schedule too dave, so no worries on this. sounds like a nasty injury - i wasn't aware of quite how bad it was at the time! expect him back for the run in <ok>

I imagine when he returns, one of the fullbacks will take his goal kicks! Apparently that's what tore the muscle in the first place!

If one of the fullbacks have to take his goal kicks it will mean he not match fit so wont be risked with Bunn showing that he is a able back up keeper....IMO

I was just thinking is this a similar injury to what Green had when he played for England?

I'm sure Bunn will do us proud until England's Number 1 gets back. Let's not rip into him if he makes an error either.

I think Bunn has done ok. Has been shaky on occassion but is to be expected. Had the same from Ruddy in first few games. Quite confident with Bunn in goal.
