    Any one think a bid for Liverpools John Jo Shelvey would be successful,with Alfie and Shelvey in midfield things can only get better.

    no from me, think he plays well occasionally against rubbish teams and in low priority matches. we would need him to perform week-in-week-out and i don't think he's capable of that.


    also, he looks like voldemort.

    And towards the start of the season (when he got a solid run of games under his belt) Jonjo looked good - he's still very young and could be a great signing. The position he is in development-wise and his place in the LFC squad reminds me of Welbeck when he came here, and that turned out alright.

    Might get him as well, given that Rodgers now has Gerrard, Allen, Hendo, Lucas, Sahin, Shelvey and Suso for 3 spots in the middle..

    My preference would be a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy. Then we can judge him over half a season, get him if he's good, send him back if he doesn't cut it. No risk.

    Over-rated ****e IMO - not worth the paper the transfer deal woulod be printed on

    Not one tenth the player Cattermole is although Hodgson will always pick his beloved Liverpool players.

    Catts is better both defensively and going forward - and is also not as dirty as Shelvey - so no thanks
