I'm told he's resigned. The details are very sketchy, but something to do with a row over the rugby, with the Allams. Sorry i can't tell you anything else but this is the way i was told. Anyone else heard this. Cooper's been with us for years. I won't be responding to any questions,as im off to see us kick Holloways ass now. In a bit !
Not Liam, but John Cooper, the infamous head of the KC Gestapo. There's rumours that he's walked, anyone know anything?
i heard bold italics john cooper clark talking with peter hook the other day. and so can you. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...s_7_Peter_Hook_Interviews_John_Cooper_Clarke/
Are the Allams responsible? If so good on em or whoever it was, not heard anyone have a good word to say about him.
Who is this bloke? It's obviously not THE John cooper as he's dead. Considering I've never heard of him, you're right that he's less popular than Abu hamza. Now there's a proper ****.
I saw JCC at Spring St Theater, back in the day, do you remember Attilla the Stockbroker, and also, our very own Swift Nick?
Only responsible for one of the best pitches in the country at Boothferry Park, how can you say that?
stan coombes once told me that the pitch is only as good as the tools and supplies the groundsman is allowed to work with..........i know john, although i have nt spoken to him for years, and i played football with and knew his brother, Pete (RIP) very well. both very good footballers in their time. john is a very clever groundsman, and i think using stan's philosophy he has both benefited from previous relationships at the club, and simultaneously suffered because of his 'duty' to be the whipping boy for illogical local police policy designed to fund the authority rather than the interests of the club. if he has gone, good luck in his retirement.
