Not flavour of the month with MM it seems, likely the rumour is good, at least that he will be loaned out.
Very strange regarding Brayford. We were told Malky had been watching him for some time so would have fully assessed him. We pay upwards of £1.5m for him and then he hardly gets a chance. Has he not settled in south Wales, are his family still up north(ish), has he shown poorly in training, has he no chance of making Prem standard or is there something else. Another one to add to the bank of less than satisfactory signings maybe, inc. Velikonja and Kiss so far. Do we need another rb in Trippier? We've got the new "He's black, he's mean, we can't pronounce his name" (Cathy to his friends), Connolly (who was good defensively on Saturday but gave the ball away on awful lot - 5 times in about a minute in the second half), McNuggs and Coulson. We've seen Trippier a few times in the last couple of years with Barnsley and Burnley. He has always looked useful and competitive but that was at Championship level. As did Brayford. Is he any better?
As I said BfB it's only talk at the moment but strange that a few different people have said it. Only just over 10 hours do go, so not long before we know the truth.
Hi Dave I know its only talk but it keeps the interest going. I'm still pushing the Aaron Lennon rumour. It has cropped up on the Spurs board and some media outlets have picked up on him being surplus to requirements at Spurs with Lamela coming in.
I'd love to see that BfB. The amount of players being sold by Spurs is frightening I'm sure 1 or 2 of them could keep Caulker company.
I think we need to give Corney a bit of time. He has only really had about 30 minutes at Cheletenham when he looked okay against lower quality opponents - other than his 40 minutes at Accrington when he was a bit lacklustre. He has had the same injury twice so is 2/3 weeks behind the others in match fitness. I don't think we will see him much before the start of October.
From BBC Transfer Window Blog: - Derby also say they have not spoken to Cardiff City about defender John Brayford. Brayford only left Pride Park for Wales in July, but is reportedly already available.
Let's hope it's not true. But, saying that, I heard he was awful against Accrington (I know it's only one game).
