http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/Der...ford-Cardiff/story-19570953-detail/story.html Like it says: £2m bid accepted. We've been after him for a while so it seems true.
It's all over Twitter, medical today sign tomorrow. John Brayford, 25, looks certain to sign for Cardiff City. reports say he is having a medical - undisclosed fee, but seems to be £2m
Malky was after him in January but it came to nothing. Good wing back and would be a good signing in an area in which we're very light. If it comes off, it'll be a relief of some sort, but I hope it doesn't stop there. Prem football presents a different challenge to what he's used to, but that's just the same for the existing members of our squad. I'd like to see some experience in the side of what's required up there, rather than the possibility of half a season finding out.
Subject to the player passing a medical on Friday the rest should just be a formality So looking at his C.v. he has made a dramatic rise in just a few years ......from the lower leagues to the very top Burton Albion Crewe Alexandra Derby County according to the beeb Wet Spam United were also thought to be interested in signing Brayford but Cardiff seem to have won the contest as they strengthen for their debut Premier League season. In Malky we trust
I feel that there will be a few more before we play WHU. Simon Moore has officially signed, another good signing for Cardiff. It seems that we are in talks with agents for Capoue & Hector Moreno
One full back sorted. Great news the derby boys really seem to rate him and it says a lot about a player that none seem to begrudge him his chance at PL football. Do you think MM believes Taylor has the LB slot sorted? He had to be one of the best left backs in the championship last season. Maybe out budget can't justify what it will take to improve on him.
If we do get Capoue and Moreno; I think all we need then is a very direct winger. Someone to drive the ball up the pitch and at the oppositions defences. Noone cuts back way too much for me.
I don't think we'll get capoue tbh but I really hope I'm wrong. We need pace in our back 4. Brayford helps, but Hudson, Turner and Taylor look a bloody slow outfit despite all being excellent readers of the game.
I hope your wrong 2 stevo, but I also think we wont get him...shame he looks a good un. brayford is a tidy pick, lets see if the lad can take his chance and enjoy taking on some of the highest earners and biggest ego`s in the game today.
would you take Sinclair(spelling) from man city??......remember him he used 2 do that kind of job for Swansea until his head was turned by bucks and stature
He wears gloves when it's cold!!! What kind of defensive midfielder is that? Oh yeah, Viera, ooh yes please in anticipation.
