I see that Riise is looking to leave Roma and a few Premier clubs are interested.
    Southampton also being linked.
He's still only 30 and highly experienced, far far better than Taylor, could it be worth Buck having a chat with him?

As long as wages weren't a stumbling block...

He does score a lot of own goals, mind!

I always rated him. Dynamite long range shot. Wages would be key.

Good player, will want twice as much as we can offer most likely.

As well as the wages, he would be looking for a long contract at 30, I dont think our board would go for that.

Can't see this one. He would be a great asset, but there are a lot of players that we can say that about - it would be hard for a player who has always played at the top end of the top leagues to take a considerable pay cut to potentially play at the bottom end of the Premiership. I think he understands that he might not play for a title challenging side wherever his next switch is, but he won't be expecting to take much of a pay cut in my opinion.
