    Good. We've not had a real skipper in years , someone puulling the strings and geeing the side up. Derry and Hill did grand jobs last eason and i'm sure will continue to do so when they are on the pitch. Also does not guarantee tarbs a starting birth ,maybe the kick up the backside he needs.

    As a thought who was the last decent skipper we had ?

    A natural choice, Barton will lead from the front, can only be a positive move for both the player and the team. I suppose Ainsworth was the last proper captain we had, Gerry Francis probably the best along with Mike Keen...
