Ok so I know im going to get alot of stick for this but i just dont understand what it is Barton is bringing to our team. Having watched every game he has played in I just dont see what job he is meant to be doing. I know he has played a slightly wider role then he may be used to but Saturday I thought he was awful (I know a few had stinkers) But he bottled at least 5 50/50 and i cant remember a pass he actually completed. Im not doubting his ability but he's our captain and he seems very willing to jump on everyone else's back when things are not going right. I think the team are just going through a bad spell. Adel tantrum was woeful when he came on and looked like he would struggle to pass wind let alone a football.... still we cant get any worse right???
He had a bit of a mare on Saturday and as yet I've seen nothing to justify all the hype or his wages. He spends more time spouting off on the radio/TV/Twitter than he does playing or training. Either he gets his head around playing for the R's or he can feck right off in January. Prediction - he will go missing over the next three crucial games but will be quoted in the press blaming someone or something that has nothing to do with us. Seriously needs to step up a gear or the crowd will be on his back then it all falls apart. Warnock better deal with this sooner rather than later.
