I know, lots of people say throw the kids in but i feel it's such a throw away comment. Physically a lot of our kids just aren't anywhere near ready. bringing 100% effort isn't enough, their ability has to be close to the standard and physically they need to be there. Most of our kids aren't anywhere near ready imo. It's not the ability part that lets them down, those under 23s play some cracking stuff after all, they're just a very small. Not every little player are smart enough to cope with the physicality. Most players who stay small fall by the wayside, Ryan Noble was a prime example.

It's why need to get some players in. It's unfair to expect the kids to save our arse as far as i'm concened. It's an unreasonable amount of pressure for something that's doomed to fail, not to mention it's a straw clutching attempt to find a solution imo.

Gooch is back soon, great news, honeyman will hopefully take a step back and get a loan move to work on his strength. Gooch is only small but he's a broad frame and more tenacious on the ball. A lot harder to brush aside.

He's weak ultimately mate, like most of them. Hopefully puberty is kicking in late for a few of these lads, that way they get a fighting chance.

    No offence at all mate.
Don't know the lad personally but he lives not far from me.
