Cant wait to see Joe back in a City shirt, and for that matter Nicky Maynard also. Imo both should have had a chance with us this year. Hope Kenwyn is paid off as i reckon he would be no better in the championship.

Maynard definitely should have had a better chance with us. No doubt

City need to sign a guaranteed 20+ goal a season striker. Jordan Rhodes is the obvious choice.

Maynard, Campbell or Mason will not score 20 goals. Maybe between them but not individually.

ninian i've said this before but campbell is a proven goalscorer at championship level 7 in 12 in the last half of our season, plus 15 in 34 for hull.

Hardly a mistake. Doubt Joe Mason would have kept us up or started ahead of Campbell - maybe of the bench. And the its good for a young player to get good experience. Same goes for Joe Ralls who's also been banging in the goals.

We still have the makings of a good championship squad next season.

My only concern is the manager.

Would prefer to finish the season under a caretaker.

We didn't have a 20+ goalscorer last season but still came top of the Championship (Just!)

That's because last season we had a strong manager who the team believed in. I can't see Joe wanting to come back to us willingly. The lad seems happy where he is.

I don't think Malky was a strong manager, he was better than DJ by a long mile, but we were lucky other results went our way.

Cardiff drew 5 matches out of the last 6 games. I'm not saying that OGS is the answer to our problems either, but Malky certainly caused a lot of upset with players, a bit like DJ in that respect.
