A sobering & troubling read. A 100 year old English football club, being used as a bargaining chip & form of leverage between a group of spivs, none of whom had an interest in the Club but were hell bent on making money from its location. Saint Richard Murray is listed in many of these documents, another nail in the coffin of his reputation.
It actually paints the Douche in a good light.... he states he had no intension of moving the Club from the Valley for several years after he purchased CAFC
It also shows that he saved Charlton from certain administration. There is one common denominator - an ex Chairman -who runs right through every incident like this since 2006.
Many of the fans hammering the nails in now, were once very quick to slap down anyone who dared oppose Saint Murray. We all had to toe the line and accept that "Richard Murray would always do what was right for the Club".
It shows that he wasn't that interested in 'The Land Deal' when he purchased the Club.... perhaps it isn't the Douche who is a bad owner but 'The Witch' who is a truly atrocious CEO? The Douch's problem may be that he hasn't sacked her ar5e?

I readily admit I was one of those people. I have become increasingly concerned with RM’s behaviour for sometime now and find those halcyon days of his much attended and vaunted Bromley meetings are well and truly a thing of the past. I suppose one might say he has a lot of reasons to still be sticking around......some three million of them if I’m not mistaken!
It is beginning to look like Roland Duchatelet is not only the richest owner in Charlton Athletic's history, but also its most trustworthy.
I think it became increasingly apparent from 2006 onwards that "the genius of Murray" was in reality "the genius of Curbishley". Although it took a few fans - prominent CARD members funnily enough - quite a long while before they stopped defending 'good old Muzza'..
If there is any potential for your owner to make the sort of money talked about here I think you can forget about him selling up.
