Liverpool are being linked with Chunnam Dragons striker Ji Dong-won.

Ji is expected to move to Sunderland for a cut-price £700,000 in the coming weeks.

However, Seoul media sources say Liverpool are also interested in the talented centre-forward.

Sunderland are sweating on a work permit application before pressing ahead with a deal for Ji.

**** SAKE HOPE NOT, he must be good if liverpud are intrested also

I did have a shred of hope over O'Shea, but in all likelihood he will end up at another North West club, or 4th choice backup for a top team. Think Mikael Sylvestre to Arsenal a couple seasons back.

If O Shea leaves the NW he will come to SAFC as I can see the Bruce/Man Utd link having a big effect. Also, if Gibson is here along with Bardsley and Richardson, the Man Utd theme will be appealing. Aslo, SAF will be advising the lad where he believes his future would be best placed and at our gaff, he will be a first team key player.

At Liverpool he will gets dogs abuse as a Manc player and Man Utd fans will be less than impressed. Gabriel Heinze was blocked from a move to Liverpool a few years ago and I dont think SAF will be letting KK have a good player at all.

As for the filth. O Shea isnt an unknown french invalid so they wont want him either

Villa will be a threat as he could commute from the NW and so would Everton (not the same level of dislike from Manc to Everton as with Phil Neville) so if not us then definately one of the others would be favourites IMO.

I reckon O Shea and Brown will stay in the NW but I would dearly love to see O Shea in a Sunderland top at Anfield in August. He would be a terrific defensive rock for the rest of the defence to galvanise around.

Bloody hell is there no end to the players Liverpool are being linked with?

I reckon the lad will still have a straight choice between us and PSV. My heart says he'll come but my head says PSV. If we don't get him we'll just get DJ Campbell instead mind.. :)
