This bloke is fantastic. He doesn't get very many games, and i reckon he could be an excellent addition to the squad. He can play well in attack and in defense. Do you reckon we could get him for 8-10 mil?
No he is carp! He can't stay on his feet for a minute Better players out there like Gervinho and Krancjar who are worth 8 million.
He is a quality player but I really think we should be spending money on younger players - he will be on massive wages as well.
better players out there who are cheaper and younger... man u wouldnt get rid of him anyway, he brings in a **** load of money from asia/korea, by being the korean captain playing for one of the best clubs in europe.
One of the underrated players in the game but his age goes against policy. Always been impressed with him though.
If he was about 27/28, but we could probably never match his wages and like others say - that money could be better invested. If Man U sold him he'd probably end up at a big German or Italian club. Probably a decent commercial deal on shirt sales in Asia though.
Why do people think 30 years old is that old for a football player? He still probably has another 5 years left!
Whether he would be a good signing or not , we won't get him as Man United will want something in the region of 10m. And we will NOT pay 10m for a 30 year old...
Because it is old for a midfielder. He'll be lucky to have 3 more years at the top level. His style of play will be affected by age, all the running around he does.
C'mon, Park wont still be good at 35. Very few players can keep up with the pace of the Premier League at 35. He will probably spend another year or two at Man Utd before going to the italian league or retiring. Kranjcar = Cheaper, younger, better, less wages.
See the Standard Charter guy saying Liverpool should sign an Asian player (pretty much that any would do) just to increase commercial potential in Asia. Is that what Association Football has become?
