Apparently according to the Sun we are chasing Jens Toornstra from ADO Den Haag

    What do you mofo's think?

It is the sun and we all know how their journalism is usually spot on!

A few papers are saying similar - Swansea look to boost midfield options with Toornstra and Lansbury signings.. but unless its confirmed by the club i wont believe any of it.. However the above mentioned target is more realistic than other names we have been linked with..

Hrm...Wiki says "He is praised for his perseverance and his endurance" = makes me a little concerned, isn't that what Tatey is praised for, maybe Brendan has listened to the fans demand for 11 Alan Tates!?.... :S

Can't see Lansbury going. Arsenal are in such plight they need all the players they can get. Maybe January?

In the summer of 2009 Toornstra came to ADO Den Haag with a contract until July 2012. He made his debut in the 3–0 victory against Willem II.[4] Soon, he became first team player for ADO and quickly gained interests from AZ, FC Twente and Roda JC.[5] Toornstra signed a new improved contract on 4 July that same year until the summer of 2013.[6] In the season 2010/2011 Toornstra received the jersey number 7, last worn by Karim Soltani who moved to Iraklis Thessaloniki F.C.. Toornstra scored his first goal for ADO Den Haag in January against Excelsior[7] after missing not a single game. On 26 May 26 2011,[8] Toornstra scored a hat trick against Groningen in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final. His goals helped Den Haag to a 5-1 lead on aggregate.[9]

if he has a good year this year he'll be out of swansea league, so better get in quick.

Yes, I can't see us getting Lansbury either, he came on in the Manu game, and they will need him this season in my view!...............

Saw Lansbury couple of times for Norwich last year. If he was 'that' good have a good idea they may have kept him - or at least tried to!!!! NO THANKS.

How about Edgar at the back for cover, he was good in my view when he was here on loan, intelligent player if you ask me! Toornstra & Edgar will do me fine lads ..............

Edgar would be perfect for cover. Chances of us picking him up before the deadline are slim though, as he looks as if he's going to see more first team action at Burnley with Duff out for a while. I think both Burnley and Edgar would be reluctant to make that move at present. Could be a good move to bolster squad in Jan though.
