Agree completely, I think Meyler or Vaughan could be away on loan today

All the good work done by O,Neil in the transfer market is going to be ruined by signing

One ****ing sick note useless young twat called Jenas

I would rather have kept Richardson this has ruined my ****ing day if this comes off

    WOW!

You really think thie signings of Johnson and Fletcher has been ruined by the signing of Jenas (if it does come off), it's still been a very successful transfer window and we are looking better then ever in my eyes. So far it looks like O'Neil is giving our squad depth today and can't complain at that.

I just do not get why MoN would want to buy/loan Jenas? He is injury prone and probably not as good as Gardner who after all is OK but not brilliant so I just do not get it!!!

Agree about Jenas being ****e, seems we are all in agreement about that.

I just thought he was going a bit OTT when saying all the work done in the transfer window is going to be ruined.

I find this very hard to understand. Jenas is a fantastic footballer, one who has been a consistent international selection for various England managers. Very gifted on the ball, with an eye for attacking creativity and very capable of scoring goals himself. To turn your nose up at a player of this quality is baffling to me.

Injuries are the only question mark for me, not ability or suitability.

5 years ago, maybe. Not now, I don't believe he will improve our midfield.

We must be watching a different player then mate. He's totally ineffectual, just can't see what he gives to the team at all

    hope he fails his medical

Rose is a decent enough signing on loan as he could turn out a really good signing but Jenas is a total crock!!! Would of been better if we got Rose in on a permanent deal and Jenas on loan

I totally don't get why we are going for him, is he anybetter than Colback, Larsson, Catts, Vaughan, Gardner n Meyler?

CM is a position that does need improving with someone with abit of a creative spark but that player is not Jenas!!!

As we are short at full back, 2 or our CMs (Gardner and Colback) are covering there. Leaving us with just Cattermole, Vaughan and Meyler as our out-and-out CMs. If Vaughan or Meyler were to leave we would be very short in this position. A necessary signing IMO.

Maybe! It's a game of opinions though, that's the beauty of it. IMO he gives poise, creativity, goals and energy to a midfield. Him alongside Catts would be nice.

    Poolie, he's 29!!!

i just can,t understand why we are even interested in him he is injury prone its a well known fact. I can only think he is playing for free just to try and get him fit

We do not need another midfielder

What we do need is a LB to sign on a 3 or 4 year deal NOT ON LOAN whats happened to the Ollsen and Strinic rumours

OK i may be over the top with saying its ruined all the good work O,Neil has done.
This is not the deadline day news i was hoping to hear

Rose as first choice left back is a shrewd bit of business.

don't be surprised if Strinic signs in Jan, we couldn't agree a fee now but I bet it will be lower then as they won't have European football come then

I would be shocked if it was anymore than 1.5m - 2m, max.
