Presumably this means he'll be offered a new contract, can't see them featuring his thoughts on team spirit otherwise.

He's a good player, with a career truly blighted by injury. Fingers crossed he stays fit because he can do a job for us. He was truly outstanding in our home win against Sunderland in the relegation year, when Townsend took all the plaudits.

So that's McClaren, Jenas and many many others that have stated how Harry's turned it around.

Yet the *HH brigade will no doubt say it was down to a Shrink he brought in, Jude the Cat, the fukking tooth fairy who knows? :emoticon-0114-dull:

It also makes a mockery of Flyer's and other's attempts during the season to make out there was a split in the squad, with Bobby Zamora, of all people, being the instigator.

Player who wants new contract praises manager shocker !!!

Jenas has a commodity that has been hideously rare among our midfield players of recent years, he strives to get into the opponents penalty area. We should stand by him through his recovery as a minimum.

I really hope we get rid of the crock. He's been another wage leech, and looks to be a bit of a big time Charlie (along with SWP) in interviews/videos.

I can't believe anyone rates him. He's the invisible man 99 games out of 100.

Because that shows the club will care about its players when times get tough !!

Would be a useful squad player in the EPL.

I thought he played well at times. Judging by what he said, he seemed to appreciate the opportunity that QPR offered him to resurrect his career and was a positive influence.

I certainly wouldn't object to him being in the squad next year.

The thing that worries me about team spirit is when we start our new season back in the prem, how many new signings will be in the starting line up? I would hazard a guess there will be at least five new faces wearing the hoops (sorry, horrible stripes!).

Whatever happens it most likely will take quite a few games next season to get that spirit going again. Maybe we should just buy 11 shrinks to start.

Wow imagine that, 11 shrinks trying to keep a positive mental attitude while getting hammered 11 - 0.
