Never mind Jay Bothroyd, good to see you back Clingo if that is the original, going by the location it is, hope you are well
Disproved the myth they try to spout that they only post on Swansea related threads, with them, little brother syndrome always wins.
Look out guys, a Wurzel has turned up to liven the proceedings. Wizey - I feel sorry for you lot over there, honest. Whilst we can discuss football matters in depth as well as having a bit of a laugh, you and your colleagues are having to cope with boredom and depression on your board. As you know, I have been trying to lift your spirits with the occasional post during this closed season, but to be honest, you have a miserable bunch of posters over there. Where's the spirit? Where's the adventure? Where's the sense of humour? Oops, sorry you've got Millen for a manager and a back four like a team of dray horses......
Dai stop being a dick. I'd have loved to have him at the Liberty but he thinks QPR have a better shot at staying up, can't say I blame him for that at the moment. The exact same reason I reckon that de Vries and Pratley left us (+ Trundle and Ricketts and many others before them), to bigger and better things in their minds.
He cant help it really can he. Dai, one of your fellow supporters is on the Cardiff board telling you not to be a dick, says it all really.
I wish Jay all the best and although it would have been great if he stayed I can understand why he left. Shame he went to QPR though, bunch of knobs in my opinion!! At the end of the day we had good use out of him for £300,000 and he scored some great goals, particularly his wonder strike against QPR!
Good luck to Bothroyd, his head was elsewhere after the England call up but generally he served us well.
best thing Betty ever did was to leave a sinking ship, ask aberdude and jh who are camped on our board 24/7 and dont listen to hacker ...nobody does on the swansea board.. enjoy your relegation battle as your down by xmas by the look at your substandard team.....
Like we were going to be in administration god-knows how many times last season? You might want to dig out the receipt and take your crystal ball back to Argos, I think it's faulty.
It's the sign of a bitter and ultimately shallow person. Thankfully I think you are in the minority here. I thought he was taking about DaiSwan
I am so glad you said that Dimduck Everybody knows you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground, the opposite of everything you said last season happened, so with you tipping us for relegation........well I feel a lot more confident now.
Jay for me was a class player, I always felt a cardiff side without Jay Bothroyd over the last few years was a weaker side, i admit at times he looked like bambi on ice, but he has good technique and good feet for a tall man, and i do feel he developed a bit of an affinity with cardiff over time. But football careers are short he has got himself in the shop window with the england call up, cardiff could not get over the final championship hurdle to make the promised land. With the side need now requiring major surgery, so i don't blame him for moving on and having a go in the prem. Cardiff will like any side have players come and players go, but MM may have a job to find a decent replacement, but we live in hope.. Both with the end of DJ's rein and such an exodus of players, I go into the forth coming season with a lot less expectation, i hope we play good football and gel quickly as a team and show some guile and tenacity, something which was lacking under DJ's Tenure. BLLLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEE BBBBIIIIIIIIIRRRDDDDSSS!!!!!
What I couldn't understand about Jay was that "when" he defended, well he looked strong and stayed on his feet, go over the halfway line and he was like Superman exposed to Kryptonite......the strength seemed to drain out of him............strange because he was a talented striker............while he was stood up I'd have him back
