As we know he's currently enjoying a successful loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.

His current loan deal expires on Sunday after they play West Ham in the FA Cup. Wednesday are keen to extend his loan for obvious reasons.

    The question is this.

Do we bring him back as he's a promising and versatile defender, the area of the pitch where we're lacking cover at the moment? Or do we think long term and let him have a full seasons League One experience under his belt?

I'd personally let him stay there for the season. That will be invaluable in his long term development, which is more important than him providing a short term fix for us. And hopefully we bring in a new defender this month.

Really looking forward to seeing how this lad develops in the next year or so.

I think he could do a job down the right for us with obertan out for up to a month but i see the sense in letting him grow with regular games.

But you see, we don't know if a Championship club might come in for him. Would you not agree that first-team football at a higher level will be even more useful?

I'm guessing we'll extend it with a recall clause.
Next year will be interesting for him - I still think it might come too soon though.

I'd only be happy with him being out on loan if he went to a Championship club. He's at the age now where he needs to be working towards EPL level.

I wouldn't be unhappy for him to stay at Wednesday. If they achieve promotion it'll be a massive confidence boost to actually achieve something like that as a young player.

Then loan him to a Championship side at the start of next season until Jan 2013 and see if he's ready.

However, if Simmo goes and we play Santon at RB then he may be kept with us as RB cover.
