Rumours are starting to do the rounds that Wilshere will now be out for six weeks.

Not good but I hope it's not a more serious injury. At the moment we have the squad to get the required results. As long as we have our main two available - Cazorla and Arteta, and the other three can fill in the third or second spot - Rosicky, Ramsey and Diaby, then we should be fine to secure Champs league. With Spurs imploding and our less demanding fixtures, it makes Wilshere's absence more acceptable.

Would anyone be surprised if he's out for a year?

It looks like the rumours of him being out for six weeks were started by Goal.com. <doh>

Have we really missed Jack ? I will probably be ridiculed here, but I always suspected that there was something wrong with our midfield this season. And one eason imho is that Jack and Cazorla together do not work in midfield. There is not space for both of them. Even though they are probably our best players. Sort of Gerard-Lampart conundrum.
