Just saw the gb vs brazil warm up game and was very impressed by him. Do you think he would make a good back up to chesny. He would probably be satisfied with second choice, at least I initially and isn't injury prone unlike Gordon. Older keepers I doubt would be satisfied with paying second fiddle.
I know we've been linked to him, he does look a good keeper though, his overall game was good, not just his shot-stopping.
We still need back up in that position. Just because he plays second fiddle initially doesn't mean he can't challenge ches and make the position his own. If he's good enough he will get a chance. I'm just not sure talented as he is Damian martinez is ready yet.
Tbh I don't think we are in a position to compete with the financial power of man city Chelsea and even Manu. Don't really think winning a Major trophy is realistic.
