And ill post it to all me and Sheff were having a friendly little discussion with no abuse, nothing personal and nothing that invoilved anyone else. it was closed because others didnt want to read it... SO...Because a mod doesnt want to read it, we are now forced to read crap about Honduras, Japan and other ****e teams in the WC we have brokn no rule that i am aware of, and i dont believe Sheff has been personally critical of me, and neither me of him. We were (or i was) having a laugh with another poster; and unless you can show us that Sheff has personally complained, then i think its out of order shutting it down...just because it "keeps going to the top" mods, let us have our fun. there is no malice and we're both having a laugh (arent we Sheff?). Why are we not allowed to continue the thread and for what reason was it closed. I've previously posted that I never (like swords, DT and others) never complain privately; so id lie the thread re-opened; although its prob killed the momentum now. Just a bit pissed off it was closed TBH !

Personally, I'd go down the route of PMs for the tit for tat stuff. Good move Mod 999! I actually like reading about the '****e' teams......some of whom might actually not be so ****e, huh? Just my tuppence Queens.

I've just got in from a night out, so I'm a bit late to your post Queens. My apologies. The thread in question ( about Spain v Chile originally ) was running around in circles and not offering anything new. It was nowhere near on-topic of the original thread. If it was a continual debate on the topic of the thread then that's all fair and good but it wasn't. It declined into something about someone accused of living 'Up North' who actually didn't. This theme for some strange reason continued on and on and on for far too long. This board has had two or three of these 'My dad's bigger than your dad' threads in the past week or so, and I've gone out on a limb here and second guessed that no-one really wants to read it. I may of course have got this all terribly wrong. If that's the case then please forgive me. I stand by my decision and think we should just all move on. If you want to continue 'having a laugh' with a fellow poster then I suggest you swap phone numbers and do it that way or by way of a Pm as some have suggested. But please bear in mind all your fellow posters on here. We only have a limited number of ribs.
I'm with nines on this. Anyway, my did IS bigger than Queens' dad!!! On a serious note, nothing that Queenslander wrote offended me, but I understand the difficulty that the mods have. Perhaps we should start an argument thread????????
