Yeah would have preferred it if he'd decided to go that gut shot a few matches later than he did! I would have fancied us against Bosingwa!
He might appeal (delay it for a match or two) then fail in his appeal meaning he will serve it during our match
This is a good bonus, I can't see them getting anything against Arsenal or Liverpool so hopefully we will pick up a result or two and it wont matter when they beat us at their place...
Arsenal is a derby anything can happen. I didn't give Sunderland a prayer at your place but they took the game to you and should have won. As for Liverpool they couldn't beat an egg at the moment, certainly at Anfield anyway. City, United, Arsenal, Spurs all took something so why can't we? Liverpool have only won 5 home games out of 15 this season. It's your opinion but IMO it would be myopic to suggest we can't get anything from there
A reasonable response DL but i just think that Arsenal are playing well at the moment, if it was at Stamford Bridge i'd back you but at the Emirates i think they'll win. As for Liverpool, they're terrible against the sides they're expected to beat, in the big games they've often been pretty good this season (that doesn't translate into results admittedly but they outplayed Arsenal and matched Man Utd and Man City, can't remember the tottenham game tbh) and my memories of your travels there in recent years have been predominently Liverpool wins even when you were in the top 2. For the same reasons i can't see us getting anything at Stamford Bridge, we've got a terrible record down there (barring the 4-3 in the league cup last year). If it helps i'd prefer you guys to get 4th than Tottenham
Aye, if he does appeal it will be strategically so he can play in matches coming up immediately as there is no way he could possibly think he could get away with that
Can't see them appealing but would be nice if they did and get got a match added, so he can't play against us.
