Johnson has named an unchanged side for the Italy game at Twickenham on Saturday. This is the team: Ben Foden (Northampton); Chris Ashton (Northampton), Mike Tindall (Gloucester, capt), Shontayne Hape (Bath), Mark Cueto (Sale); Toby Flood (Leicester), Ben Youngs (Leicester); Andrew Sheridan (Sale), Dylan Hartley (Northampton), Dan Cole (Leicester); Louis Deacon (Leicester), Tom Palmer (Stade Francais); Tom Wood (Northampton), James Haskell (Stade Francais), Nick Easter (Harlequins). Replacements: Matt Banahan (Bath), Jonny Wilkinson (Toulon); Danny Care (Harlequins); Dave Wilson (Bath); Steve Thompson (Leeds); Simon Shaw (Wasps); Hendre Fourie (Leeds). What do you think of the unchanged side? Personally I think it is a good decision as they were convincing enough in Cardiff and if they all get used to playing with each other it can only have a positive effect. As for Italy they are probably the best they have ever been but I feel we will still be to strong for them. Personally I think we have a great chance of winning the grand slam as long as we stop giving away daft penalty's. Also we need to be getting the ball out to our backs more often, especially when were in the opposition 22.
Corbisiero replaces Sheridan. Apparently Sheridan has a back injury and this is why he will miss the Italy game.
Thought I was going to get to go out and watch it at the pub, but it's on BBC1. This is both good and bad! They're not sloppy and are always a determined bunch in the rucks. Should be an entertaining game. You reckon we've ot a chance against France?!
If we cut out the mistakes I reckon we could have a good chance against the French. It could go either way though.
Still giving away some slack penalties but I'm not complaining about that!! Some brilliant shows today...
