I think the OP means is Walcott a vastly overrated selfish player who doesn't score a lot of goal yet doesn't pass to a teammate.

If thats the case, no. How could Walcott be the new sturridge when walcott was here first.

Do you mean Sturridge and by that do you mean he's ****?

Because Theo had a great game today. Not that you even watched it. You probably saw the score and decided to WUM.

I would guess he's talking about being played out of position

Podolski made good passes and assisted Giroud on Tuesday. Are you suggesting that he should have passed instead of shot for his goal.

Walcott was the most dangerous player on the pitch today, and I believe it was his corner that assisted Giroud for the 1st goal. Walcott is on set piece duty now because of what he did against Reading (2 assists from corners), and he continued it today. Good on him.

Let Theo and Oxo take the corners and let Podolski take direct FKs and Pens

Walcott does not look for a pass when he has even a remote opportunity to shoot these days. He clearly plays for himself rather than the team. The guy just wants more goals on his CV. He is a goner.

And just remembered, Walcott got the assist for Giroud's second too, so 2 assists.

And it's not like he isn't defending either. I seriously think Walcott's critics should STFU for now. He's obviously added to his game this season. His finishing is better, his final ball is better, he is beating players with a wider range of skills, and he is delivering excellent corners.

I just hope to **** he signs a new contract. We are screwed without him... we saw that when he was injured.

Agreed. In the games he has started recently, we have not struggled for goals. It's our defence that has gone to ****.

Slagging off Walcott is just lazy in my opinion. He was one of our most dangerous players today. I don't accept the criticism that he's selfish either, how many times have people slagged of our players for playing 'tippy tappy' and not shooting ?

Our problem today was that we had no bite in MF, we didn't press Fulham from the front and we gave them too much space to put our DF under pressure.

    Not Walcott's fault at all.

He's getting his chance to prove himself and he's grabbing it with both hands. He's perfect for the team at the moment - you have the bulk of Giroud, you have the German drive of Podolski, Theo with his pace is the perfect 3rd piece to score goals.

He's proving himself very valuable and his worth is going up week on week as he plays. He just needs to sign a contract.

    No am not wumming!!

    did you see ?

58th minute 3 on 1 and from 35 yards he is shooting way wide, when he should have easily squared that to Pod??

He illustrates Studge mentality, perhaps he is desperate to prove himself as striker!!

^ He just scored three goals and assisted another two within 20 minutes. Probably not the best time to criticise him without looking clueless.

    From the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20868267

"Theo Walcott, who has scored 10 goals in his last 10 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions, has scored with 35.8% of his shots this season in the Premier League - the best ratio of any player to have scored five or more goals this term"

Basically what we already knew - LETHAL FINISHER
