I think the kick in the bollocks with this one is if you think back to the night of the Brighton game the televised game was Pompey V Barnsley, not one to set the pulses racing is it? Leeds, West Ham, Southampton, Cardiff and Leicester have the history and pulling power to attract the tele cameras and can normally complement this with a good game to televise. In fairness to Sky, when they have televised our games they've hardly been ones were they would want to rush back and watch us (Blackpool this season, Forest at home and Palace away last season). I think people wish Sky would take their heads out of the aforementioned 5 clubs backsides more often and give everyone a fair amount of coverage, the BBC as well.

I don't get why City fans are no longer allowed to point out that certain teams get way more TV coverage than us. It makes them money, which should be being shared out fairly. It's a kick in the balls to the clubs who don't get such arse-licking, especially when we are one of the few teams in this so amazing division (along with Leeds I'm sure) that actually want to play football. If any teams are going to be given bias in this situation you'd think it'd be us based on the footballing philosophy (home and away) ,West Ham and Leicester based on the best squads/bookies favourites, etc. But the football obsession with 'big' clubs (a phrase which should really be banned from football because it's such bollocks) makes no sense at all. It basically means teams which are worse off now than they used to be, teams that used to play at a high level but are now ****e by comparison (Forest, Leeds, etc.) Why would recent failure be an attraction to neutrals? People don't go and watch Tim Henman play tennis in his back garden because it's a good thing seeing him play at a low standard, it's quite the opposite, the same goes for any sport or entertainment commodity except football where for some reason success is measured 40 years afterwards when it no longer means anything at all.
Can't argue with any of that, spot on. They should put more effort into showing derbies or local rivalries. It'd be a more even balance with teams getting a fairly equal amount of TV coverage and the games are more likely to be better!
I do believe he 's back . I thought at some point he would make a return but not this quick and not this obvious . I think maybe he thought he would go unnoticed if he didn't use the word muppet for a bit or maybe he isn't arsed .
