I think you'd be jumping the gun a bit to say he's going to get sacked. It's early days yet. Last season people were saying the same thing when we had a slight bad run towards the start of the season. Plus we'd need to pay Grayson off; Bates is tight enough as it is without having to put his hand in his pocket even more. Playoffs, promotion then 7th isn't a bad effort in 3 years. See where we are at christmas. Although we haven't got the results we've been playing pretty good football in my opinion, apart from the first game.

 

Injuries haven't been kind to Grayson!

It's very hard for any manager to work under someone like Bates but I reckon bates would give him till at least Xmas, not unless for go on a 5/6 losing streak
