Manchester City top of the League.

    COST...........£194.9 million LOSS.

Can anything be worth that for success.

    QUESTION....is it really SUCCESS......???

If you are a Man City supporter then yes it is worth every penny of somebody else's money. If you are a Chelsea fan then the same applies. If you are a supporter of a team with no money and no prospect of getting any sometime soon then the answer is no of course it isn't. Is it obscene is the real question and the answer to that is yes whether it be your club or anyone else's. When you think of all the things in the World that this money could be better spent on than a sports team then it seems so very wrong. This sort of money is actually going to end up killing football for the smaller clubs where there will be absolutely no chance of joining the elite in the end. This will make the whole thing sterile and boring where there is nothing left to aspire to. Where would football be if there was no promotion or relegation. What happens when it is forced into going global for the super rich and the average punter cannot afford to go anymore. Whilst they think it is great their club has all the money going now they may not think it so good when they are effectively dumped as being non consequential to the clubs needs.

When you consider that for the value of a Man C reserve player (£17m)...Argyle agonized on the edge of oblivion for a year.......losing it's better players.......losing staff, some of them losing their homes, cars etc...........and Tevez (worth £50 m ? ) decides to play silly buggers and goes home to Argentina instead of turning up for training.

Which club plays football in the real world.......I honestly don't know anymore ?
