All season long, CH has been playing for draws. No, no, no - we mustn't attack, it's scary, we might concede. Then, ten minutes to go, a draw would have been a decent result and really put serious pressure on Villa, what do we do? Concede. Could ANYONE have managed us as badly as he has this half season?
Yes, too late. What makes me so ****ing angry is that Hughton has spent half of his time at Norwich dissing our players. Who came twelfth last year. With a competent manager. Unlike you, Hughton. Blame your players all you like, 'nice' man, it is YOU who is not up to it. Nobody else.
Well, he probably could if you look at his record, but at least he's a Budgie through and through so could possibly be forgiven, you would know his heart and soul would be in it... Where are the Hughton apologists tonight??
We have an unwritten rule on here tonight not to respond to any binner posts welly. Consider this a 'one off' and **** off, I thank you
Yes, welly, sorry, nothing personal. But we need to hate collectively. We need to recognise that this man has destroyed most of the progress our club has made through his utter negativity. So please, just leave us alone for now.
Believe me, VC, much as I have my laughs with you lot, as a fellow football fan, I do feel your pain...
Still could be worse VC, we are not Wolves, Blackburn or Coventry Now call me cynical but this season seems to have bred a different way of thinking among fans. The Toon army are convinced they are the worst team in the league. The Potters believe they are the worst team in the league. Canary fans are convinced they are the worst team in the league. QPR fans now know they are the worst team in the league. The Black Cats were the worst team in the league until two weeks ago. Reading fans believe they are the worst team in the league and they might be close to being right. Villa fans believed they were the worst team in the league until a few weeks ago. I have never know so many fans of so many clubs sharing the belief that their team is the worst in the league but I have certainly seen more fans than ever from each club tear it's manager to bits in the last 2-3 months. Either the standard on PL managers is dropping like a stone, or the standard of football outside the top 5 is. Either way, it does not bode well for the future of the game and any supporters of a team thinking it is going to make an impression in the PL that is not spelt Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Tottenham or Chelsea is in for a very rude awakening in the years to come. Even the dream of mid-table obscurity is a major achievement and if we go down this time, we are even less likely to be able to compete to even that level.
Perhaps, Thai, but I would like you to consider that City fans did not have the same expectations. We did not expect to swan effortlessly to Prem survival. We are not Newcastle or Sunderland fans. What we did expect was some kind of attempt to play decent football. What we did expect was a manager whose ambition was slightly more than to survive by being a less efficient version of Stoke.
None of the teams I mentioned have been playing some kind of decent football for the majority of the season either despite the best will of the respective managers and that is the common theme from this season. The teams in the bottom half of the league, on the whole, have been bloody awful. Even Fulham who have once again secured a respectable position in the league have been bloody dire on many occasions this season. It cannot be just a coincidence, and I am not making a case for CH here, that most of the bottom half of the league have struggled to make any real impression on anything like a consistent basis. There is something fundamentally wrong with the PL. Perhaps a little like the Championship this season where mid table respectability was just 2 wins away from playing Exeter City next season.
to be fair as a cats fan over many years , we dont , we should do because of the size and fan base we have . yo yo like norwich
More ironies. Having played for 0-0 in game after game against teams we might have beaten, CH doesn't play for 0-0 in a game in which it would have been a good result. Does this man have any intelligence at all?
You need to listen to his interview tonight when asked about his thoughts when it was 1-1 VC - it'll make you cringe
Next week the players should manage themselves on the pitch, I think they'll do better than following CH's instructions. What's to lose? Didn't they do something similar at home to Everton?
