Used to be a decent night, before the law became brave, plus the Scots not being so far away were usually more welcomed than the ****y southerners... Aye it maybe some pisshole of a city, but a decent amount of slags and half decent beer, which most of us can appreciate.
The owner of oor boozer wis pals wi a bloke who owned a boozer there. Canny mind the name of it now. It was a pub/hotel. White with black beams on the exterior - kinda mock tudor to look of it. Anyhoo oor pub team played their pub team once a year. The rest of us just went for the two day piss up. Shagged some wimmin in the Hotel. No ****in idea what the hell they looked like. I was smashed the whole time.
