He sounds pretty bitter to me for club and country.

    "For a start, Birmingham is a c**p city" <laugh>

Haha Birmingham is alright but I can see why people don't like it. He'll love it up here, he's a bit nuts just like the Geordie boys <cheers>

He's not just burning his bridges, he taken a wrecking ball to them first then burning them.

Then to top them off pissing all over them <laugh>

Think it's safe to say he's leaving Villa?

No need to wonder what type of reception he will receive next time he plays at Villa or Birmingham.

He says that he needs a manager that wants to play him and believes in him, I think that Pardew may get him playing as well as he did for Man City.

Having lived and worked in Warwickshire for nearly seven years I used to go to Birmingham a lot, it has got better as the city has been revamped and is not as bad as some but I wouldn't want to live or work there, Gods country will always be the North East and especially Northumberland. Does seem as if he is rather angry about life, hope he can prove to be an asset on the pitch and maybe have a future with us.

Love what he says about Birmingham but I think he is a tad harsh on Ireland, bearing in mind its his namesake!

I think he comes across as a complete dickhead in the part where hes talking about Birmingham and playing for his country.

This concerns me that he doesn't want to leave Manchester, how long is it taking him to get to training for us? If he doesn't get a run of games is he just going to strop, start slagging our team off etc

It does show a massive degree of disrespect not just to the clubs supporters but the residents of the city's and country he's berating.

A modicum of restraint; say that you tried your best at <insert club> and it didn't work out. Wish them the best and hope to get some game time in the future yada yada yada.

He didn't have to slander everything he's ever been associated with.
