Seeing Mat Holland at the match reminded me of what a gulf used to exist between the two Clubs.Despite their lucky equaliser I thought on the whole Bournemouth were the better side. They held onto possession better, moved the ball about well and didn't resort to hoofball as often as Town. But hey,League positions don't lie?!

The extra 24hrs between games was a big factor during the last quarter of Mondays game.!

We're definitely a little more forward thinking than last season but that doesn't take alot. We may get a little more progressive but I don't think Mick will ever change his spots, he's never been seen as a progressive attack minded footballing manager. Actually reminds me a little bit of David Moyes, a solid manager who'll do a decent job where he goes but doesn't have that natural attacking instinct to take gambles like all the top managers do.

For me a progressive football is a style of play not neccessarily about having the players for it, look at how different managers get the same set of players playing completely differently. When Mick has added flair players to our team, our team doesn't suddenly become creative and start carving out chances to me when Mick has played Williams or McGoldrick it's like the rest of the team have been told to stay solid and just let them produce and individual piece of brilliance, IMO teams who are the most creative and play with flair are those who attack as a team and pass and move.
