Hi lads, My name is Paul and I'm from Holland. I've visited Charlton - Watford during the 2007 - 2008 season (0-0) and the football was quiet awful. Fell in love with London and particularly The Valley. Bent, Hasselbaink and Thomas made my day. Now still, I'm a member and I follow CAFC every weekend. Now I've found this forum, I can follow my favorite club even better! Lets beat the Trotters today!!!! Greets, Paul
Welcome Paul, it'll be quiet today as most people will be on their way to the Valley. Hope you have a good day today
completely outplayed until Jacko's goal then Bolton lost their rhythm and we took over..... we took the lead and decided to sit back and had to withstand a lot of pressure from a team with only 10 men!
Sounds good: lets finish Brighton tonite! What was the attendance? Are there a lot of empty places in The Valley during the Championship matches?
Haha, 7 points out of the 9 possible since I joined this forum. Was going mad when Obika hit the 2-1 in the 95th minute: fantastic!! Now we're safe for relegation I suppose.
Still going strong: would have never thought we would have chances to make it to the playoffs. A ninepointer for the last tree games will be difficult but if we grab those points that would be nice. I follow a thread about the choice of going for the playoffs or get some youngsters on the pitch and the majority wanted to give the youngsters a chance. Why is that? Is the CS a nice competition to play in than the Premier League?
We are not ready for prem this season and wouldn't get through the play-offs so most want us to give some of the youth a chance to show they are as good as Cally M
