You obviously missed the bit where the FA said he couldn't.

The secret of global success has been leaked.

Teams up and down the country are furiously working on changing their names.

Won't we all have egg on our faces, in 5 or 6 yrs time, while we're still arguing over a name change and Exeter tigers play Carlisle tigers in the champions league final. Torquay tigers lift the F A cup, Mansfield tigers win the league cup andL**ds tigers win the premier league.

Wait a minute that's taking it a little far!

I like Burnsy, but wish he or someone would really push for a proper answer.

Surely a national journalist with less reliance on the club should be able to?

Not at all. You obviously dont understand why it is going to arbitration then.

The FA only stopped it for the wider implications of if they had allowed it. The Allams lawyers would have told AA as much if they thought the FA ruling was water tight.

I like to think that Allam takes no Lawyer advice, much like Ted Bundy representing himself in court!!!!

Their appeal will be rejected, as there was nothing wrong with the FA process.

Which is good for them, as otherwise they'd actually have to show a big increase in revenue that was never going to happen and they'd look a right pair of clowns.

So it is...Cojón (plural cojones) is slang for "testicle" and may be used as a synonym for "guts" or "[having] what it takes," hence making it equivalent to English balls or bollocks.

My overall impression from Ehab's responses is that they're resigned to selling the club. He doesn't seem at all sure of himself though and his answers are vague and repetitive. He's towing dad's line but perhaps inside he doesn't agree.

They feel that they've been thwarted by the FA & The Council and can't take the club further

They know already what the Court of Arbitration will decide, that's why the club is already for sale

I think Bruce likes working for them so a potential change of owner will raise questions in his head

But who in their right man would put themselves in that position. I'm not sure wht planet our fans are from but do you see Abrahamovic being questioned like this? Divulging every little financial detail about the club and so on... you're asking for something that no one else has done.

Same as lying. An owner that possibly hasn't lied before is unheard of.

Just back from the gym so I'm in the mood for a beating. So I will try.

Its about Branding-the Allams think that the current name is not "Brand Noteworthy" and that The Hull Tigers will be. Having a good brand name is (would have to look for some studies that prove this) said to be one way to increase sales and therefore profit.

Problem is a few of you don't agree with them. Which is a real shame since it would be great if we could be one happy family and focus on the football and not this nonsense.

That's possible but how do you go from being pissed off at the council, to renaming a football club to get your own back. I don't see the connection.

Yes but a city council and football team aren't exactly the same thing. Has it actually pissed the council off that much? or just us.

The Council should change their name back to Hull Corporation like it was when I was a lad.
eg the blue buses were known as "Corporation Buses"

Are you Rip Van Winkle, mate?

Hull City Council pissed him off, cos he didn't get his way and the KC. He won't let the City obtain what he believes is reflected, unearned glory from the Club's success.
