If, by 25, a player isn't good enough for your first team, he never will be.
Why keep him and continue loaning him to all and sundry?

His value has probably gone up by more than his wages though. I don’t agree with it particularly with English players but I get it. Overall it is working financially if not morally.

I think that your youth set up is actually very good. It's the transition from youth to first team that's the problem.
Lots of moaning this season about not having a deep enough squad, despite having 34 players out on loan. Ridiculous.
