    I'd like to point out the lack of quotes at this part. pure speculation from the sun, Pardew doesnt even come close to hinting at this

    This is going to sound silly, but why would they lie? If we went and signed Larsson after reading that they'd lose all credibility. They didnt need to add that part.

    I reckon it's Seb Larsson like, nailed on. He's a quality player and will add great depth to our squad, he'd probably walk into all but three or four Premier League squads too. He's been Birmingham's best player for a while now and I'd love to see what he could do with better players around him.

    I'm really confused . He says "I can say that because he’s an international player – not someone who belongs to one of the bottom four battling relegation" then he says the player is "based in Continental Europe". From what I understand he's an international playing for a non-relegation European team.

    Could be someone that hasn't been mentioned in the transfer rumours like Lucas Biglia (RSC Anderlecht), Jadson (Shakhtar Donetsk),

    nah that's a good point actually. Although papers do like to 'embellish' their stories to give them a bit more weight. I'm just not too sold on us being in for another Central midfielder tbh.

    <doh> Just read the article! So it clearly isn't Larsson but I'd expect to see him come in anyway.

    I hope it's Gervinho <wizard> but I do expect to be disappointed :(
