Well that's one less of our players who'll be playing during the international break...

    Supposedly a minor injury. I'm surprised it's Lafont's first call-up, though.
Could be one worth watching for us, especially as his contract is up in 2024.

Is there really any need when the season is already being royally f***ed up by the World Cup?

    I hope nobody else dies.
Or COVID gets taken seriously again.
Will we ever get through a football season again without it be derailed at some point?

Just a reminder, but 9/11 didn't derail the Premier League season. In fact, Fulham played a game the same evening

Sami Mokbel from the Fail is claiming that Yaya Toure is working with England's U21s.
Part of his coaching education via our academy, apparently.

Quick! Someone check if it's his birthday soon.

Why do I think Slabhead will be playing in the first game of the World Cup whether he plays another minute for ManU or not? Same with others. If Sterling didn't even bother to move on the pitch in every game for Chelsea until the WC he'd still play. Coady will probably play ahead of Dier. Kalvin Phillips might also have been selected even if he never played a minute for Man City (which was perhaps what was happening until his injury), and he might even be selected now on the off chance his leg might grow back in the few days after they arrive in Bastardland.

It's in May. We'll have to put Defoe on cake duty.

Sessegnon, Skipp and Spence all start for England U21s and it's on Youtube.

England U21s 2-0 up after 5 minutes. Both for Brewster. Quick start.

Edit: Udogie has come on at half-time and been very lively. Caused some problems cutting inside.
Sessegnon, Spence and Skipp all subbed off in a mass sub on 71 minutes.
Nicolo Rovella (Monza on loan from Juventus) dismissed for a 2nd yellow card on 87 minutes.

2-0 FT. Italy U21s lose for the first time in over 18 months.
England being able to bring on Aarons, Gordon, Ramsey, Garner and Elliott suggests lots of depth.

He got around the pitch well enough and played decently, but he's clearly quite rusty.

Surprised Sessegnon is still eligible. Seems to have been around a long time. About three Fulham promotions ago at least
