    Who do you think will be the best of our new signings? Personally I think Marveaux will have a great season, I mean he must be good if Cesspool wanted him!!

    Also Why hasn't anyone suggested Gosling at RB and Simpson at LB.

    Finally although Pieters was quoted saying that he may not move I think we will get him. If you read AP's comments he said "Bringing in a new left-back is in process, but I doubt whether we will get him in time for tomorrow" The fact he said 'him' and not 'one' suggests we have a deal in place to sign one. Most likely Pieters.

    Yes but as a stop gap until we sign a left back, he could then move into the middle, just don't want Perch to play.

    Cabaye could be a bargain if he lives up to the hype. Great passer of the ball and him & Tiote in the middle could be lethal.

    Cabaye. I think he'll be another Tiote-esque signing, and with him and Tiote, we'll have one of the strongest centre midfield pairings in the league.

    Simpson is bad enough in position never mind out of position! Raylor or Dummett for me. I also reckon Marveaux will be a quality signing but I reckon Cabaye will be better, he is a magnificent player!

    I have a very very good feeling about Cabaye, think he is the real deal.

    Also fancy Ba to grab a good few goals if he stays fit.

    Think the surprise package this season could be Steven Taylor, back and raring to go, seemingly over his injury problems and needs to prove himself before its too late, his time is now.

    Cabaye looks to be the probably best buy. I fancy Gosling to show this season.

    He got in 3 in 3 in the last few games of last season, so he was halfway already in just 3 games out of 20+!

    Being a defender is what it is, but when he's forward for those corners, he's just as lethal as any striker. I honestly wouldn't let his label as a defender get in the way of him getting a rather surprising tally this season. It should provide even more help in filling the void left by Nolan.

    I'm going for at least 5 from Taylor. If we get 5+ from Cabaye too, then the goal void left by Nolan (which everyone outside of Newcastle seems to find oh so vital) will be completely filled, ALONG with the far superior CM play Cabaye will provide.

    I don't think Cabaye will score much apart from set peices. From what I've seen he looks like a very deep lying midfielder.

    Cabaye is not renowned for scoring much, he might get 3 or 4 a season but nothing more. He will get loads of assists for as thas the type of player he is, he'll get the most assists out of all our players. His passing range is phenomenal and he can play defence slitting balls with his eye's closed. Also he isn't afraid to get stuck in and he is a tough tackler so he will rake in the yellows. He is a deep lying play maker.
