Wagstaff has nearly double the amount of appearences then our second highest Johnnie Jackson. Wagstaff has just over 100 league appearences. I know last few years we've dramatically changed the squad, but do you think any of the current squad will be loyal and possible stay to reach 200 or so league appearences, or do you think we are just being used as a stepping stone for them to achieve greater clubs (providing we don't reach the premier league ourselves)

Morrison, Wiggins and Solly will all reach 300 games for the club!

I think, injury permitting, that most of this squad are here to stay. Of those who are potentially capable of playing at a higher level, some are getting on a bit (Jacko, Morro and Taylor), others have too much injury baggage (BWP) some are potential one club men (Solly) and others have failed there before and may be regarded as trouble (Kermo). I'd be very surprised if they were realistic targets for other clubs. The only way some of those guys are leaving us is if we do a Norwich and go straight to the Premier League in which case we'd be offloading them to Championship teams. I think the only realistic big (ish) money target for the higher division clubs is Wiggins. Maybe Stephens but he has a lot to prove at the moment.

I therefore deduce that we have at least half a dozen who potentially could be here for another two, three or four seasons depending on our progress. If we settle down as a middling Championship club I think several of the current squad will be around for a while depending on injuries, fallings out etc.

I see Solly definitely (as long as we keep progressing as a club). Another is BWP, as long as his knees hold up. He seems to have genuine love for the club in recent interviews. But again, that would depend on the level we are playing at.

    Morro getting on a bit? He's only 24 <laugh>

I reckon Wiggins and possibly Morrison won't stay long, but a number of our other players I'm undecided on. Solly will hopefully be a one-club man unless Arsenal come in for him.
