Bournemouth-based Fulham fan in peace. I get along to see AFCB play from time to time and Wiggins is a great signing. I would have been happy for Fulham to have taken a punt on him. He might (or might not) be Premier class, but in my view he wouldn't be at all out of his depth in the Championship if you get promoted. Best of luck for next season.

That relationship with Liverpool never existed, it seemed to be 'discussed' to try butter us up into selling Shelvey on the cheap. The fact that Eccleston came in was merely coincidental, yet CAFC spur some rubbish about the deal with Shelvey making it happen. I don't doubt that Jonjo may have put in a good word (even if he was given a hard time by fans/slagged off our training regimen), but I very much doubt that there was any link stronger than that. Coming to think of it, while we're signing all these players left, right and centre, we've still got our Ivorian contracted players loaned out. I think Deble may have gone now, but aren't there four others? Might as well chuck them in the mix pre-season just to see whether any of them are any good.
