A midweek rest should help some of the players to recover after a tough period of games. Ward said: âKaid Mohamed was very tight on Saturday, his third big game in a week, something he hasnât does for a little while. Even the experienced guys will find the intensity of three games like that very tough. It gives them a little recovery time, and any bumps and bruises get a chance to recover. We have to pick up quickly, because before you know it we have another three game week.â And for the younger lads, there will be a game against Newport tomorrow, with Seanan Clucas expected to feature. Ward said: âWe are playing Newport County here at the training ground tomorrow, so it keeps the younger guys up to pace. With these games coming thick and fast, they could be jumping in and we need them to be up to match fitness. We hope to have Seanan Clucas involved, and if he comes through that we get another important player back around the football squad.â Danny Woodards will miss out with a hamstring problem.... Ward said: âDanny has tweaked his hamstring and it is about testing how serious that is." Ryan Brunt is now sit to miss the rest of the season.... Ward said: "Ryan has been back to see the specialist and had a further operation on his knee. The operation discovered that the knee was very solid and safe. We think that is going to cost the season for Ryan now, but we have got to the point of the problem and there is no doubt about him coming back, but the recovery period will probably not allow him to do that before the end of the season.â
