Matty James is out for a few weeks with a shin injury
Danny Drinkwater will miss Chelsea but should be back for Arsenal
Jamie Vardy and Marc Albrighton will be fit for Chelsea

Hopefully we can get another CM in time for Chelsea.

Highlights the need for more squad depth.

Apparently Rod Fanni (yes, that's actually his name) has been at the training ground today with licence to train with us ahead of a £400k move from Marseille.

    We need 2 midfielders IMO

A defensive mid (Cambiasso) and an attacking midfielder

Cambiasso or somebody else if not is vital in midfield. Will be good to get James and DD back but King really put down a claim for 1st choice

So how do we line up against the likes of Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard, Matic and Ramires?

If we don't sign anyone do we use Marc Albrighton as a centre midfielder with King while Dean Hammond plays behind?

Bringing in Cambiasso will surely make it easier for DD/James/King to travel forward (any one of those 2 as part of a midfield 3 away from home imo)

Very naive to go to Chelsea playing 442 especially with us losing our best 2 midfielders. We need to shore up the midfield and frustrate them. Get crosses into Ulloa and then final 20 mins get Vardy on to run in behind on the counter

I'd go with 4-5-1, but we just dont have the CM available to do that at the moment, and we need to seeming most everything from Chelski will probably come through the middle.

Yes, but if the option is between playing 4-4-2 or playing Albrighton as a CM then i would rather play 4-4-2! If we did need an emergence CM then i would actually maybe go with Knockaert - he is suprisingly good defensively in my opinion - or maybe Was just in front of the back 4

Moving Wes out the back 4 would be a massive error. We could always go with 5 at the back with Wasilewski coming in for Knockaert. Having Nugent playing deep with Ulloa up top of his own. Mahrez would come on for the last 20 with Vardy as an impact sub

Mahrez gets the full 90 for me ... I'd also play Vardy if fit ... give Lurch and Fester some real running to do ... if we set up merely to contain we'll get easily turned over ...
