The striker has been struggling with a groin injury, but is touch and go for the clash at Loftus Road. However, the former Cardiff City frontman will have to make do with a place on the bench as Bobby Zamora is expected to be handed his QPR debut alongside Djibril Cisse in attack. Boss Mark Hughes is also boosted by the return of Armand Traore and Adel Taarabt following their appearance at the African Cup of Nations. Akos Buzsaky (Achilles) is a major doubt, but DJ Campbell (hamstring) and Heidar Helguson (groin) are definitely out. Ali Faurlin and Kieron Dyer are long-term absentees.
