There is talk going around that Curtis Nelson has broken an ankle.....a mention of him seen on crutches yesterday at Home Park.

Peter Hartley could also be missing for at least a fortnight....had to come off on Saturday.

Will Reuben Reid return this weekend after missing two games ?

With Morecambe coming on Saturday this could be a bad time to have to re-jig the defence.....they have an excellent away record as well as being the leagues top scorers.

Loss of Curtis Nelson would be devastating: has been immense all season. Nothing in the WMN this morning but maybe too early for medical certainty...

Not saying the thing about Nelson isn't true but this is a rumour that has been circulating since yesterday and I would have thought if it was true somebody somewhere would have confirmed it by now. The latest seems to be people asking questions if it is true or not still. Something like that would surely have hit the streets news wise by now. Don't think there is much point in panicking until it's confirmed as true as it could be a wasted panic and there are sure to be many this season.

The latest post on pasoti by a user says that he saw Nelson at Home Park today on two feet with no cast or crutches. He looked perfectly fit and well. Phew.....hope they are right.

I know Joe but repeat what I said earlier. This has been doing the rounds since yesterday and you would think by now it would be confirmed if correct wouldn't you. I can't see any merit in the club keeping it secret.

An eye witness on Monday....who was watching training....said that Curtis Nelson who was involved in a six-a-side training game.....stopped a fierce volley close up with his leg.....and immediately cried out with pain......the physio who at the time was doing light training with Reuben was immediately there to help.

Nelson was later seen hobbling off with an ice compact around his lower leg (left or Right ?).

Tell you what, I'll let you know on Saturday how badly if at all he's wobbling about. I wish people would only post stuff they know for sure rather than just put half or part of a story on a board.

If there was no truth in Nelson being injured on Monday the club would surely have denied it.

If he has picked up an injury in training the club would possible not say so..... for Morecambe to feed on.

They could be working overtime on his leg hoping to get him fit in time for Saturday.

Morecambe have possible got one of the best away record in the Division....they've scored a lot of goals and conceded a lot as well.

    Away record.....P7.....W4.....D2.....L1.....17-12 goals.

    Home Record...P8.....W3.....D0.....L5.....14-15 goals.

We need to be at full strength in defence if possible.....and they will always be giving us a chance up front.

I wasn't referring to your post plym but the one that started all of this on pasoti. According to that he had broken his ankle and you repeated on your opening post. Then along comes somebody else who says he saw him and there looked to be nothing wrong at all. Then he blocked a shot in training and squealed leaving with an ice pack on his leg. Now they are working on him allegedly. Now, call me a bit daft if you like but you can treat a broken ankle all you like but the person will still be in plaster and be out for weeks. What exactly is there for the club not to mention? I've no doubt something happened but whatever it was may or may not end in him missing games. Given the lack of anything being said by Argyle I'm going to assume it ain't that serious. If it is then he won't play and by Saturday evening the world will know.

Latest note on pasoti is as follows. Adams says Reid is out on Saturday, Hartley doubtful but Adams hopeful. Apart from that a clean bill of health.

Nelson looked pretty fit to me today. It was never an issue, Hartley on the other hand hobbled around for the last 20 mins so it wouldn't be a surprise if he was 'rested' on Saturday.
