First of all what a great result yesterday and still looking good at fourth

But what I wanted to ask is, are you happy that we are treated with complete indifference from all points of the media and most pundits, and not getting any credit from anyone. Unbeaten in 14? Joint top scorer in Murphy and still not noticed. Makes you wonder what do we actually have to do to get noticed

There's one part of me that screams for recognition and be treated as serious contenders, but another part says it's nice to be under the radar as there won't be any added pressure put on us by the press
I wonder how MM and the players feel about it

I just don't like the lack of respect we are getting from the press but I'm sure we are getting the respect we deserve from the other top clubs

What's your thoughts on this ?

Good post Yorkie and I agree with you in as much as we aren't getting the recognition we deserve. Take last night for instance on the FL show on BBC. You would have thought that the 2nd Vs 4th clash would be the featured match and yet we get Wolves Vs Forest and Charlton Vs Millwall! We basically got 25 seconds and even Norwich who are in dismal form got more coverage! Everyone in the media is having a collective ****fest over how well Bournemouth are doing but what they don't tell you is that they have spent a shed full of cash on players!

In a way though I'm glad that we are being left alone to get on with the business and I'm sure Mick prefers it that way. If we can cement our place in the top 6 come the turn of the new year I would imagine that the media will finally start to take notice.

    Not worried about it.
As the others have said, annoying to be overlooked after coming so far in a couple of years but really not bothered if the results keep coming and we keep doing what we are doing.
I never watch the FL show but not getting more minutes highlights from a 2nd v 4th game is wrong.

I quite enjoy us being virtually ignored by so called " TV experts " ( what the hell did Claridge achieve in his career anyway ) but it did rile me in last nights FL Show when our match got so little time and the brown nosing attitude to all things Bournemouth, they seem to have forgotten that there were two teams involved in the match.
MM got last months Manager of the Month award and we are 4th in the table in late November so its no fluke, and all this achieved with a squad that cost £10,000! So theres nothing worth talking about with ITFC? How I loathe self appointed " experts "

Under the radar, Norwich are flourishing with being in the spotlight!

Glad others have noticed this, being under the radar doesn't really bother me in principle but we could still be under the radar and get the recognition we deserve. What really frustrated me was when the top 6 were all playing each other, the other two games got full highlights, we got the usual summary and a sentence from Manish.

That said, there's been a significant increase in our sky games, maybe sky our noticing.

I don't think Jeff Stelling likes us very much!

Hardly in the spotlight are we?

We (both) have to accept that the media don't give a **** about us.

If it bothers you, become a plastic.

    No, neither will I! <ok>

I don't think a club of our size that's been in the Championship for as long as we have should be under any kind of spotlight.

We have to be in the top flight or have someone high profile in the dugout or on the pitch to make any kind of noise. What is there to write / talk about? That we've won a few games? That we're not underachieving? With the M&M partnership I bet there is a hell of a lot of coverage and backing in Eire now though.

I'm with Hampy on this 100%

Brentford and Bournenouth are the ones who have the best case for getting some attention based on what they've achieved and where they've come from; even the merest hint of Brentford sniffing at the PL is like something from a Football Manager computer game and only to be applauded. We must be the least interesting team to talk about in the Championship... and the more we move into the spotlight, the worse it'll be for the likes of Ty and Ted when the best way for them to develop is in relative obscurity. Until next season, of course, when the MOTD cameras will show them about 10:30 each Saturday :-D

Come on Gandy I would have bought your argument if it wasn't for the fact that all the regional Media is based in Norwich and treats Delia and Fry like Saints! This weekend our game against Bournemouth (2nd Vs 4th) should have been the featured game and yet we got 25 seconds of coverage with neither team being mentioned afterwards. Your lot got mentioned even though you are in comfortable mid table!

I guess I was really referring to the national media - with regard to local media, you certainly have a point. <ok>
