DJ - Seems to confirm a bid has been made by us and accepted by Oysten for his son to join Cardiff.

Remains to be seen whether it will translate into a contract. Ince senior will certainly have a say in his son's future on a personall level between them, even if not at club business level.

I was going to put a thread up about something I was told lunchtime today, but I'll stick it on here not to make too much of it as it's still only heresay.

The thread title was going to be "Tom Tom" and was nothing to do with sat nav.

It was to do with a double signing - they were both called Tom. It's something I touched on briefly a week or so back but let it go as just speculation. I've now heard it for the second time - this time from a different ex-work colleague.

Also told that Fulham could be the fly in the ointment because of their location.

Sky are only reporting what Ince snr said in that video interview - nothing more.

Oysten will take the money no question, it's just a matter of whether Ince snr and Ince jnr want Cardiff as his next stop.

Again according to Sky Sports Liverpool can scupper the transfer by matching the 8 million bid within 48 hrs

Yeah, they have a clause in there contract stating they can match any price that has been accepted by Blackpool. Now Blackpool really wouldn't like this to happen as Liverpool also have a sell on clause where they receive 35% of any future sale. A win win for Liverpool as allegedly he was a Liverpool target in the last window but Blackpol priced Ince out at 16 million. Sadly this may mean Ince will go to Liverpool but never say never....

If he wants to sit on Liverpool's bench then let him go. We'll get someone who wants to be here instead.

If it's who I think it is they don't need a sat nav I'll pick them up myself M4 to London on the north ring road (or whatever it's called now) then north to Blackpool.

Ive always thought hed sign for Liverpool.

Best player last year in The Championship. Better than all Swanseas current wide players and ours.

If you get him good luck to you.

I think he will go to by far the bigger club who comes in for him.

So if not Liverpool then he will join Cardiff.

Feel free to give me stick if he joins the PLs smallest club though.

As soon as an offer is accepted then others are sure to follow. I think Liverpool are in the driving seat even though they have not been mentioned yet. If the Swans go in for him he would be better suited to go there (Europa league) this story has a lot more mileage to go.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...personal-terms-Cardiff.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Cardiff have moved a step closer to signing Tom Ince from Blackpool after agreeing personal terms of £35,000-a-week with the England U21 winger.

The Premier League newcomers have already had a bid of £8million plus add-ons accepted and now hope there will be no late hitches with the deal.

Welsh rivals Swansea have yet to follow up their interest while Liverpool have shown no inclination to match the offer for Ince, as they are entitled to do under the terms of his £500,000 move to Blackpool from Anfield two years ago.

    Silly season continues.

You lads have seen more of him over the last few years. He surely must be overpriced at £8 mill?

Personally I believe 8 million is too much and I am a bit surprised Liverpool, have not yet followed up on their option. If Swansea are the only other club looking at him is there something we are not aware of. Given all his potential there appears to be little interest, is it the price tag?

Price tag does seem exceptionally high, to high for us anyway.

Hilts, you may be a bigger club because your the capital and have a bigger area for fans etc, but we are playing in Europe. A big thing for players these days.

Ash - don't avidly follow the European competitions myself, so I'm not sure how many games you're guaranteed next season.

Perhaps Ince wouldn't necessarily be swayed by possible early exit.
