So warbled Jonathan Lennon in 1981, 10 years after his death at knifepoint in Chicago.

    That's right Johhny boy.

Originally of course he was one of the Fab Five from Hamburg.

They returned to Blighty and were suddenly turned into the first manufactured boy band a forerunner for Boyzone, New Kids On The Block.

Their banal music by numbers were incredibly successful for some unfathomable reason.

The drummer boy Best was so disenchanted he ****ed off. He had principles.

A truly pitiful band with no redeeming features whatsoever.

DJ Drew Speaks his mind with gusto.

They were a great band, I saw them once, the whole room was bouncing. Same league as Chas n Dave.

Chas n Dave were a great live act. They were one of the support acts when Led Zep headlined at Knebworth, and carried it off really well despite being basically a pub band.
