Sitting here at work trying to forget everything since Leeds and ignore the doom and gloom of the forum whilst working away on some new functionality and the radio had played Amy Winehouse about 20 times today alone! Changed stations and every 15/20 minutes she's back on. Great voice but it's overkill now. What would Joey tweet?

@joey7barton - Amy not offered new contract by higher echelons of the club & terminated. Don't see why we can't blame Fat Mike for Amy's demise he's been blamed for everything from the club's transfer policy to standing on a grassy knoll in Dallas in 1963.
The thing is, this hasnt just cropped up, it's been here since the hughton sacking then the sale of Carroll. Players speaking out against the board or being unhappy or whatever. The only difference now is that it's in the public domain. Simpson hasn't automatically jumped on the band wagon because Barton has got himself in to a pickle. There would of been stuff going on behind the scenes months ago. Now it's in the public eye, it's all doom and gloom again as if this has sprung up from no where and will destroy all that is good within our team. I don't believe it for a second. We will be weakened without Barton, without a doubt, but talk of relegation because people assume this has just happened is mental. This has not just happened. It has only been made public.
